    Scope of application

    Anyone selling takeaway alcoholic beverages between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

    Exclusion

    All beverage outlets to be consumed on site.

    Description

    In all businesses other than on-premises drinking establishments, anyone wishing to sell alcoholic beverages between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. must first undergo specific training on the rights and obligations associated with the takeaway sale of alcoholic beverages between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m..

    The certificate includes the following information :
    1. Surname, first names, address and date of birth of the trainee;
    2. License registration number and expiry date;
    3. Dates and location of the training course for which the permit was issued;
    4. The name, legal status and address of the approved organization issuing the permit;
    5. The signature and stamp of the aforementioned organization;
    6. The reference of the decree approving the organization.
    At the end of the training course, the approved organization issues a certificate, known as a "night-time alcoholic beverage sales permit" (PVBAN), conforming to a standardized model and valid for ten (10) years.

    The approved training organization sends a second copy of one or other of these attestations to the prefect of the department in which the holder of the attestation resides, for safekeeping, by electronic means if necessary.

    The PVBAN is a document required when applying for a license, and may be subject to inspection throughout the course of the activity.
