Balanced representation of women and men among senior managers and members of governing bodies
Scope of application
Any company that employs at least 1000 employees for 3 financial years consecutive.
Description
In order to accelerate the participation of women in economic and professional life, the Rixain law introduces several measures, the most important of which is the introduction of a 40% quota for women among senior managers and members of management bodies.
Since March 2022, the employer must publish each year the possible gaps in representation between women and men among senior managers on the one hand, and members of management bodies on the other. These differences in representation, and the arrangements for publishing them, must be sent to the company's ESC and to the Ministry of Labour via its dedicated portal.
The proportion of each sex in senior management and in the governing bodies must not be lower than :
