Compulsory equipment of a furnished holiday home
Scope of application
Any individual villa, apartment or furnished studio offered for short-term rental to a customer who meets the following three criteria:
- the customer has exclusive use of the property, i.e. the owner is not present during the rental period,
- he/she uses the property as a secondary residence, i.e., it is not his/her home,
- the rental is for a short period (maximum 90 consecutive days per year).
Description
Furnished tourist accommodation is a form of individual accommodation that includes fully furnished villas, apartments or studios for rent. These accommodations must be equipped with the following items:
- Complete furniture (table, seat, storage shelves, lighting)
- Bedding including comforter or blanket
- Gas stove or hob
- Refrigerator
- Kitchen utensils
- Meal utensils
- Household cleaning equipment adapted to the characteristics of the dwelling
- Window shades in rooms intended for use as bedrooms
