    Drafting, signing and delivery of an employment contract


    Scope of application

    Any employer hiring an employee, regardless of the nature and duration of the employment contract.

    Description

    At the time of hiring, the employer must give the new employee an employment contract written in french, adapted to the nature of the contract.

    In addition, a copy of the DPAE or the acknowledgement of receipt must be given to the employee. This obligation is considered to be fulfilled if the employee has a written employment contract, mentioning the body to which the declaration is addressed.

    Note : if the contract is not in writing when it should be, the employee is presumed to be on a full-time permanent contract.
