    Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)


    Scope of application

    All chemical substances manufactured in or imported into the European Union in quantities of one tonne or more per year and considered dangerous, of very high concern (SVHC) or on the authorisation list.

    Description

    The manufacturers and importers concerned must provide downstream information for all imported/manufactured substances and mixtures, in particular through safety data sheets (SDS).

    These sheets must be kept (together with their proof of dispatch) and archived for at least 10 years.
