Plan of mobility (PoM)
Scope of application
The PoM has been a mandatory process since January 1, 2018 for each site of a company with more than 100 workers and located on an urban travel plan ("PDU - plan de déplacements urbains").
Description
The Mobility Plan (MoP) examines travel related to site activities and the resulting costs.
It aims at optimizing and increasing the efficiency of the travel of employees of a company, to reduce polluting emissions and reduce road traffic.
The MoP is mandatory since January 1, 2018 for each site of a company with more than 100 workers and located on a Urban Travel Plan ("PDU - Plan de déplacement urbain").
Must be analyzed:
- Travel of employees (commuting, work),
- The transport offer to get to the site,
- The transport of goods.
An action plan must include at least 3 environmentally friendly actions with a timetable and a financing plan.
The mobility plan is transmitted to the organising authority with territorial jurisdiction (metropolises, urban communities, etc.).
