Publication of a liquidation notice in a legal notice journal

Any commercial company, or real-estate company considered as such, in the process of voluntary closure of its activity.

A notice of cancellation is published in the Bulletin officiel des annonces civiles et commerciales.

The notice shall contain :

1° For natural persons:

• Registration details ;
• The surname, business name, pseudonym and first names of the registered person;
• The place of business;
• The business name;
• The date of cessation of activity.

2° For legal entities:

• Registration details;
• The company name or denomination followed, where applicable, by its acronym;
• In the case of a company, the legal form;
• The address of the registered office.

A certificate of publication in a legal gazette must be attached to the de-registration declaration (M4). All these documents must be filed via the company formalities office or via infogreffe within 30 days of the end of the business activity.
