Operators, creators or purchasers of businesses in the Hotels-Cafés-Restaurants-Discotheques sector must first obtain a PERMIS D'EXPLOITATION (OPERATING PERMIT), so that they can declare their licence to the Town Hall and make their business operational.
CHANGES TO THE LEGISLATION GOVERNING PUBS, RESTAURANTS AND TAKEAWAYS
The Permis d'Exploitation (Business Permit) applies to any future operator when opening, transferring or moving a licence for a III or IV public house opened after April 2007.
Since April 2009, it has been available to anyone declaring the opening or transfer of an establishment with a "petite licence restaurant" or "restaurant".
RAISING AWARENESS AMONG CHRD OPERATORS OF THE REGULATIONS GOVERNING PUBS AND RESTAURANTS
This training course is designed to provide operators with a good understanding of the specific operation of a drinks establishment (public house), and to make them aware of and responsible for the specific obligations relating to the sale of alcohol, by providing them with all the information relating to the legislative, regulatory and case law standards that apply to them.
Training is therefore a preventive means of combating alcohol abuse and the various nuisances caused by poorly controlled operations. It also provides information on the risks of sanctions specific to public houses.
